Making an Impact
Using the victim-centered, TAT training he received at work, Charles Bernsen, a truck stop manager, helped Nikki, a survivor of human trafficking, escape her trafficker and begin a new life of freedom. When Bernsen received TAT's 2024 Harriet Tubman Award, Nikki surprised him by coming to the award presentation. This is why TAT stands committed to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of key industries and agencies to combat human trafficking. As the eyes and ears of our nation's roadways, the trucking, bus and energy industries are driving change in the fight against human trafficking. You can help us mobilize this army to ensure more victims are recovered and more traffickers are brought to justice.
Every dollar donated through Dec. 31 will be generously matched, up to $250,000, by Inland Kenworth!
