Making an Impact

When building an army to fight a crime like human trafficking, the bus industry has a key role to fill. Through their sheer numbers, extensive travels, and the nature of their jobs, members of the bus industry—commercial and school—are uniquely positioned to provide an extra set of eyes and ears for law enforcement in recovering victims and arresting traffickers.

Human traffickers are counting on people not paying attention and not knowing the signs to look for or the questions to ask. If every bus driver and bus station employee could be trained to identify the signs of human trafficking and how to report it effectively, imagine how many victims could be recovered and, potentially, how many traffickers could be arrested!

This is why Truckers Against Trafficking launched Busing on the Lookout to educate, equip, empower and mobilize the members of the bus industry to fight human trafficking as part of their regular jobs. As the eyes and ears of our nation's roadways, the trucking, bus and energy industries are driving change in the fight against human trafficking. You can help us mobilize this army to ensure more victims are recovered and more traffickers are brought to justice.

Busing on the Lookout is a program of Truckers Against Trafficking. You may also make donations via check (made to Truckers Against Trafficking) and mail to: Truckers Against Trafficking PO BOX 816, Englewood, CO 80151. Please write BOTL in the check's memo line.
